Overseas products can only be purchased for personal use, not for re-sale purpose.

According to applicable laws and regulations, some product categories are subject to purchase restrictions. For detailed regulations, please inquire the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance or other competent authorities.

You must pay import tax (1) when you purchase products with a total amount of more than $2,000 and import them to Taiwan using the same air/ship or from the same sender and arrive on the same day, or (2) if you have already been exempted from import tax more than 6 times in 6 months period (Jan-Jun or Jul-Dec) based on the order amount.

An estimated import tax/charge will be pre-collected for all purchases at checkout. We will request to refund the overpayment to your credit card within 2 working days of customs clearance and the refund may take 7-10 working days. Please note that this is contingent on the processing time of carrier/broker and your credit card issuers.

After-sales service is not provided for overseas shipping products.

For Rocket Overseas purchases, the buying customer should shoulder the civil and criminal responsibilities concerning necessary declaration, product inspections, or quarantine application, and shoulder the product loss, damage, and fees for violating such regulations. Please pay extra attention to the following regulations for the products you purchase:

(1) Whether the purchased quantity or amount exceed the quota for exemption from inspection due to self-use, and therefore needs to comply with relevant inspections or provide licenses.

(2) Purchases of products banned from import, or animals and plants (such as sausages that contain pork) that should be quarantined but isn't, would result in the products being destroyed, or civil / criminal penalties.

(3) Due to overseas shipping restrictions, import policies, laws and regulations, or other reasons, your Rocket Overseas order may be canceled.

Regarding the regulated objects subject to quarantine which are announced on the website of the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine, we continue to request overseas vendors to comply with the regulations in Taiwan and conduct regular checks. We kindly ask you, as a customer, to comply with the regulations and purchase only products that are legally allowed. In addition, according to Article 38-3, Statute for Prevention and Control of Infectious Animal Diseases:

1. To prevent infectious animal diseases when importing overseas animals or animal products to Taiwan that are subject to quarantine, it is required to comply with animal quarantine regulations and apply for quarantine accordingly. Anyone who imports prohibited quarantine objects without permission will be subject to imprisonment for up to 7 years and fines of up to NT$ 3,000,000. Importers or agents who import objects subject to quarantine but fail to apply for quarantine will be imposed with a fine of between NT$ 50,000 and NT$ 1,000,000 and an additional fine for each violation.

2. It is not permitted to use objects that are subject to quarantine as a giveaway along with a purchased overseas product.

3. If the recipient of such object violates Article 34-3, Statute for Prevention and Control of Infectious Animal Diseases and fails to submit the shipped objects subject to quarantine to the competent authorities in charge of quarantine of imported and exported animals for disposal, the recipient will be imposed with a fine of between NT$ 30,000 and NT$ 150,000.
